Hi Jesse,

First off, thank you so much for sooperlooper. It has changed my life (in a good way)!

One quick question:

How can I route 4 ins and 4 outs for one looper?

I have three stereo loops (2 ins each) set up but I am trying to route 4 seperate ins and outs into one looper so I can give the soundman seperate inputs. Most important control for me is to have individually mixed channels all routed to one looper then routed individually of my 4 outputs on MOTU 4pre so I can give the soundman 4 individual channels that contains the clean signal as well as the looped signal all individually mixable. That way when I pick my 2nd looper instance I have all 4 inputs going into that loop as well but still routed to the same 4 outs. I hope this makes sense.

I am running mainstage, into jack into sooperlooper.

Loop 1--

1 - Guitar > Sooperlooper 1 > Out 1
2 - Bass > Sooperlooper 1 > Out 2
3 - Keys > Sooperlooper 1 > Out 3
4 - Drums > Sooperlooper 1 > Out 4

Loop 2--

1 - Guitar > Sooperlooper 2 > Out 1
2 - Bass > Sooperlooper 2 > Out 2
3 - Keys > Sooperlooper 2 > Out 3
4 - Drums > Sooperlooper 2 > Out 4

Only stereo and mono loops are supported currently unfortunately. You could do 8 mono loops?

I discovered the answer to my question was to set up a "custom loop" with 4 mono loops

I just realised that the sooperlooper back end does allow adding channels to loops ( I think the max is 256?). If you start the back-end seperately you can have 4 chans per loop.

What do you mean by Custom loop with 4 mono loops?

tboston007 just meant it behaves a bit like a single loop but is actually 4 separate loops.
