I'm having an issue with the rate control feature. Audio sounds clean when the rate is set to 1.00 or higher. Below 1.00, audio becomes distorted,and at 1/2x, the loop audio disappears entirely. If I record/overdub in 1/2x, and bring the rate up, the recording/overdubbing I did at 1/2x appears, and is disorted until I get the rate back up to 1.

Any ideas of where to begin investigating?
