Starting recording from jack

I think it used to work before but now does not.

Here is what I do: open fresh session with one loop, select 'sync to'->'Jack/Host', check 'sync' in loop, start recording, click on 'Start transport' in qjackctl --jack transport is running, but SooperLooper keeps flashing 'record' button, and keep showing 'waiting for sync'/'WAITING START' in loop counter. Shouldn't it start recording? Or maybe I've seen it working like that only in my dreams.

I have SooperLooper 1.0.8c on Ubuntu 9.10 x86_64

Yup, that is what I was trying to do - to make first loop from hydrogen, starting it from hydrogen, so that the length is exact duration of the pattern.

Hydrogen controls jack transport fine, and i think i did just that some time before, not sure why it is not working now
