rel-quantized overdubbing?

Hi,
I think this wasn't happening last week, but could someone please confirm or deny this behavior?
When I hit Odub, I like it to start immediately and then (if I hit it again soon) stop recording after exactly one loop - just like Record behaves with Rel Sync on and external sync source. but i can't seem to find a combination of settings that functions this way with odub. Am I missing something? Is there a combination of settings on a loop that will behave this way? My guess would be odub sync, rel sync + round, but that doesn't seem to be doing this.
