Hi,
I'm using a Behringer FCB 1010 to send MIDI commands corresponding to MIDI bindings I've set up in SL. I can select and record on any of the 3 loops separately, or I could record simultaneously on all three. What I can't figure out is how to record on the first loop (#1), then select the next loop (#2) and begin recording on it AND loop #3 simultaneously. Is this possible? I'm using an electric guitar that has a regular guitar audio output and MIDI trigger output to a guitar synth. I want to separate the guitar and synth on their own loops (#2 and #3), but record both loops at the same time while loop #1 is playing the drum beat. I can't figure out how to trigger loops #2 and #3 (but not loop #1) to record simultaneously with a single button press. The goal is to send each loop output (drums on loop #1, guitar on loop #2, synth on loop #3) from SL to three separate audio tracks in Ardour. Right now I'm recording the guitar and synth combined (on loop #2), so no way to mix the recorded tracks separately.
Thanks,
Len
Record on 2 of 3 loops simultaneously with single button press?

Re: Record on 2 of 3 loops simultaneously with single button press?
I figured it out. I forgot that I can bind more than one MIDI command to the same event in SL. So the MIDI event sent from a button press on the FCB 1010 can be bound in SL to both 'record, loop #2' and 'record, loop #3'.
