Can I use SooperLooper as a plugin in GarageBand?

I know the SL documentation says GarageBand doesn't allow you to send midi events into the plugin, but I'm unclear if this means you can't use SL as a plugin in Garageband at all, or if it just has limited functionality. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

(BTW, huge thank you to Jesse for creating such a great program and being so helpful on the forum, I've been digging through old threads and finding a ton of useful info!)
