Using SL as a jack client

Post by alexeusgr »

Cheers.
I was wondering if anyone knows a way to start sooperlooper so that it generates jack midi ports instead of alsa. Now I use a2jmidid, but I'd like to avoid that.

No, it doesn't support JACK midi ports right now. I know it has been *many* years since they showed up on the scene, sorry about that!

Thats a bummer, but thanks anyway - SL's so nice to use, can't find anything like it

a2jmidi works reasonably well (based on limited testing done). Is there a specific reason why native JACK midi binding would have been preferable ?
