loop loading problem

Hi! I've installed sl on my debian wheezy, and i can't load loop. Where can i put my wav loops? I have tried to type this in the load loop box :
~/house.wav but don't work

Sorry for the late reply, this is a bug in 1.6.18, if you can update to the newest version then do that. Updated Debian packages should go into unstable fairly soon.
A workaround for 1.6.18 is to start slgui from terminal like this:
