Problem:
1start qjackctl, start jack.
2. open sooperlooper, open hydrogen.
3. set "sync to"=jack/host, "quantize"=cycle, "sync"=checked
*expected behaviour: BPM in sooper looper should get set by jack. side note, hydrogen works on qjack jack transport at right speed, but qjack is not showing the bpm from hydrogen either.
Actual behavior: bpm stays at zero, and punching record with transport on or off results in "waiting start" meesage which never goes away.
Tried reinstalling all jack related items and sooperlooper.
Everything works fine with free timing.
Linux Mint LMDE. patched and up to date.
not reading timeclock from jack.

Re: not reading timeclock from jack.
What version of SL are you using?
Re: not reading timeclock from jack.
Have you tried it with jack1 and jack2?
Re: not reading timeclock from jack.
only jack2, as I have some stuff I use regularly that requires it.
