Stop and wait for record from postion 0 sec

Hello,
I try to use Sooperlooper to make a seamless guitar loop. I use a pedal to midi send "record and wait". The record starts fine with my first stroke. But after some trials the record doesn't start from the beginning (position 0) but from i.e. 2 sec. Looping has then some silence at the beginning.
Howto rewind to zero position before recording? Like rewind?
