I've tried hitting the record however, shouldn't you still be able to listen what you're playing even if it isn't on a loop yet?

Is it possible to connect directly one guitar effect processor like the boss me50 to sooperlooper? Do I need some kind of guitar to midi device? Or can I do it only from software? The reason is that I would like to loop my guitar but also use the effects on the ME50. For now I've connected the Guita...
