Re: UMI3 plus SooperLooper

I like the look of the UMI3, if I'd known about that I may not have have splashed out on the FCB1010! Having said that, I do tend to use up to 10 pedals a song and I would confuse myself flicking through scenes like that.

Love the fact it is USB and bus powered.

Re: SooperLooper Logic 8 Problem

If you are synching to the host then record won't work unless logic is playing.

Re: Logic 9 not validating AU

3. Loop 1 is always 4 -5db louder than the other loops - I have to trim the input gain Try unticking the "Main In" box. Not sure about your other queries, probably something to do with the way SL works synching with the host (i.e. logic). I generally always sync to Loop 1 and everything i...

Can't sort midi bindings list

Small thing really, but the entries on the midi bindings list are very random, would be great to be able to sort it by midi event or name! :)

Re: Multiple Midi-Bindings with one push— AppleScript?

Bit of an old post but thought I'd answer it anyway! I am preparing myself for a live gig where I will be using SL with a FCB1010 and Logic. What I have done is simply set up the midi bindings so that more than one function is triggered with a single midi message. i.e. using note on commands I have ...

CPU load v sample time

Hi there,

Does the predefined maximum loop length affect CPU usage at all or is it just what you actually use?

Cheers,

Re: The ultimate FCB setup (for song oriented players)

Anybody have anything else to add on this? I am setting up my FCB / SL jamming setup and am curious what others are up to... 8-)

Re: SL with pedalboard (osx, logic)

This is an oldish topic so not sure if the problem still exists but I just realised that you need to "arm" the software instrument track for SL in Logic for Logic to divert the midi into SL. Otherwise Logic will see the messages ok but SL will not react at all.

Re: "AU multichannel" choices make Logic crash ... ??

In Logic, if you want to loop your voice only then only feed the input from your vocal channel into SL. Keep playing guitar as normal. If you want to change what feeds into SL then you need to do that by arming different input channels in Logic. This could be done by assigning such a task to foot pe...

Re: Mainstage 2 and SL.....Sweeeeeet!

Sending alternating messages through the fcb can only be done with the UNO chip - have you got this installed? Perhaps ask the yahoo fcb group - they are really helpful over there.

Re: Mainstage 2 and SL.....Sweeeeeet!

A bit off topic but since you are talking about the FCB1010: I just got my FCB1010 last night and I was a bit apprehensive about programming the thing given everything I read online. The reality...? A doddle. Sure you've got to spend a bit of time going through each patch programming what you want i...

Re: "AU multichannel" choices make Logic crash ... ??

Best thing is to send all the things you want to loop to the same bus, no extra hands or feet needed! Here is my setup: Audio 1 in (guitar) to Bus 1 Audio 2 in (vox) to Bus 1 SL sidechained with Bus 1 (input audio set to --infinity db) Bus 1 output to Main Out SL to Bus 2 Bus 2 to Audio track 3 (so ...
