recording midi and audio into logic thru Sooper looper
Hi Jesse, It's been a while since I've written. Here's what I'm trying to do, please let me know if it's feasible and if there are any FAQs on this already. I want to open sooper looper in logic. Done already as an au. I want to RECORD onto a Logic audio track and RECORD onto a Logic midi track the ...

thanks man

Re-establishing sync after Loop 1 is paused
Jesse et all, I have five loops going all synced to Loop 1's cycle. If I pause any of them besides loop 1 and hit trigger they begin at the begin of loop 1's cycle. That's good. But if I ever pause loop 1 (the cycle master) it picks up where I paused it, hence losing place w/ all the other loops goi...

Re: How does SL work with Ableton Live?
Thanks Jesse, I'm using the FCB 1010 (as you may remember). Same instructions for this, no midi patch bay needed? Also, in standalone I'm able to run Reason etc.... into SL and loop it. -Am I able to do the same while coming up as a plug in in Abelton? For example run reason, or omnisphere or any ot...

FCB 1010 Expression Pedals usable w/ sooperlooper?
Has anyone figured out how to use the expression pedals with SL?
If not usable it seems like wasted real estate.

Re: Problem hearing all devices when second loop created
Jesse,
I got it working. I figured it was something like this.
thanks
j
p.s. I don't understand syncing in this. I turn it on but if I'm slightly off in creating my second loop it registers. How do I get the sync to work?

Re: Problem hearing all devices when second loop created
I understand, still at my gig on intermission so haven't tried it at home. But I've done it enough and am looking at my screenshots and don't completely understand, I'll try it and write you the verdict.
What you're saying makes sense more or less I just haven't achieved it in person yet.

Re: Problem hearing all devices when second loop created
Jesse, Thank you for your in depth explanation. What I wanted was your second example. I want everything hooked up and to be able to play and record all at anytime on any loop I create. I'm away from my rig right now, but I think your second explanation covers this. A couple things for clarity befor...

Re: Problem hearing all devices when second loop created
Jesse,
The new version of Sooper Looper did not fix the problem of dropped audio devices when new loop is open in tandem to original loop. Refer to my last email of all the screenshots you asked for.

Re: FCB1010 programming w/ Sooper Looper
Hi Sam,
Well I found everything got on the forum and am diving in. Can you explain exactly why the mod chip is a good thing to buy? What are the glitches that are inherant in the FCB. How does the mod chip fix them.?

Re: Problem hearing all devices when second loop created
Jesse, I would like to hear all sources I have going through my 8 channel A/D converter (MOTU 896HD). Right now I only have the two. Here are the screen shots you asked for. Also on a different subject any way to control mix levels of the overdubs coming in? So each loop can have it's own mix, overd...

Problem hearing all devices when second loop created
Jesse, I've got two sound sources a keyboard (source 1) and a drum brain (source 2). I can hear and see both levels etc.. both on my monitor and on the looper in the threshold as a jumping level meter gauge. When I open a second stereo loop (loop 2). One of the two sound sources immediately doesn't ...

Thanks,
This is helpful. I don't know what mapping is. Do you mean have I pressed the buttons on the pedal yet while running sooper looper.

What is a mod chip?
When you say turn on and go, do you mean out of the box it was able to command sooper looper to do everything you wanted it to do?

FCB1010 programming w/ Sooper Looper
Hello,
I am asking a ground up question. How in the world do I assign pedals on my FCB1010 to functions in Sooper Looper? I've read the documentation and have the jist of it, but the specifics of putting FCB into program mode and having it trigger specific functions.

Re: Creating Aggregate device on intel mac in jack
Jesse, Looks like that fixed the aggregate problem. Do I need to put this as my device in default inputs and outputs as well. AND hopefully finally with this problem, what will I see it as in routing in Jack? As aggregate device in and out or something different? Or will it still be sooper looper co...
