how to get /sl/#/forceup to work?
Hello all I'm having a bit of trouble controlling whether an OSC message starts or stops a command. Using /sl/0/down record followed by /sl/0/up record works pretty much as expected, but only for loops >= 1.00 secs. If /sl/0/up is sent sooner than 1.00 secs after the down command, nothing happens &a...

Re: Maximum number of Overdub triggers per loop cycle?
Thanks so much for the response. That absolutely did the trick.
As a note, after a bit of trial and error I realized one needs to remove the old loops and create new loops for the Preference change to take effect.
Thanks!

Maximum number of Overdub triggers per loop cycle?
Hi, I was wondering if there is a maximum number of times one can trigger the overdub function per loop cycle. The reason I ask is because sometimes if I trigger Overdub x amount of times per cycle, at a certain amount of x times I trigger Overdub it eventually causes the audio to cut out. The longe...

Re: Receiveing OSC messages from SooperlooperAU
Thank you! I am now successfully sending and receiving OSC messages from SooperLooper. I used "./slregister localhost 9960 9951" with the slregister application. 9960 being the port my processing sketch is using and 9951 being the port SooperLooper is using while in standalone (I'll switch...

Re: Receiveing OSC messages from SooperlooperAU
So I tried testing using the SooperLooper standalone. I'm able to send OSC commands, such as record, etc... But still can't figure out how to 'listen' to SooperLoopers outgoing OSC messages. I tried using Processing, just to test OSC communication. It worked sending messages like /sl/0/hit record bu...

Receiving OSC messages from SooperlooperAU
Hello I'm running SooperLooper as an AU plugin in Ableton Live 9 on Mac OS 10.8.5 I'm also running VJ software (VDMX) on the same machine which can send and receive OSC messages. I'd like to listen to OSC messages being sent out of SooperLooper and map them to controls in VDMX. (Using something like...

Re: Live vs. SL
Thanks sam_square and jesse for the great sync tips!
Live and SL still integrate perfectly but now I don't need to start my songs with a click from Live to ensure sync. Just what I was dreaming for, yet it was always there. SL rocks!
Thanks

Re: Live vs. SL
Live's new looper is great just for the fact that Live will sync and set the tempo according to the first loop that you play. That is a feature I really would love to have in SL's AU plugin. To be able to just start recording a loop without Live's click going first. In a Live situation this would me...

Re: Multi-Channel Outs
Okay, I think I'm figuring this out. SooperLooperAU seems to default to only 1 loop on first use. "select_next_loop", etc, doesn't do anything because there are no other loops available. SL default 1 loop.png To fix this I clicked on the SL GUI. This brings up the SooperLooper menu bar in ...

Re: Multi-Channel Outs
I haven't been able to figure this out. This is how I sometimes get a few loops going. I have an AU instance of SL on an Audio Track in LIVE. I hit or midi trigger the record button in SL_AU and record my first loop. Then if I want to add a second loop, I'll hit the overdub button, record a 2nd loop...

Multi-Channel Outs
I have a question about selecting SooperLooper as the audio input of an audio track. I noticed that there are many channels available. Pre FX Post FX Post Mixer 3/4-SooperLooperAU 5/6-SooperLooperAU 7/8-SooperLooperAU 9/10-SooperLooperAU 11/12-SooperLooperAU 13/14-SooperLooperAU 15/16-SooperLooperAU...

Re: basic functionality
The only other thing I'm trying to figure out is triggering start/stop with ableton's start stop, but i reckon i can just do a key binding for this with the spacebar. If I understand correctly, you want loops in SL to start when you trigger the play button in Live and have them stop when you trigge...
