Waiting / pending state for replace, substitute, etc.

After adding a loop and synchronising it with a playing loop you can register to receive notifications of its state which include "waiting to start" and waiting to stop" which are sent when starting and stopping a recording. I have not found a way to get similar status when starting and stopping: replace, substitute, multiply and insert. Is this possible?
