MacOS High Sierra, QjackCTL 0.97, and Blackhole cant get audio from Reason or synths into SL only MIC??

Hi guys,
I need some wisdom here.

I can get audio shared between SOME apps, like from a synth called Surge XT(I use with my Linnstrument), into Reason and probably vice versa. I can get any MIDI I need into SL using MIDI Patchbay which I had backed up, and I build my MIDI controllers, so thats fine.

QjackCTL won't let me get any inter-system audio other than the mic into SL??? How do I get the audio from Reason and other synths into SL.
I also have a license for Ableton 9.7 but I'm not sure how to set that up either.

I'm new to Blackhole but I got it working.... QjackCTL not so much.

Can somebody post a sticky on the main workflow board for an Ableton setup?

Simply put I hate QjackCTL, or am I doing something wrong
