The new Raspberry Pi 2 is fast enough to build a nice headless standalone box with SL inside. Controlled by Midi or e.g. with TouchOSC.
To get a good audio quallity I used the Cirrus Logic Audio Card. Since last week there is a kernal patch available for this card and so I could realise this "loopstation".
The prototype is running. Here's a documentations with scripts and setup hints in my blog:

There is also a small script published how to make a TouchOSC to SL "translator"

That's really great! I have been dreaming about an embedded portable looper based on sooperlooper for a while. Don't own the latest raspberry pi yet but will get it soon. Please update when you have been getting further.

Very cool idea to bring some usefullness to the raspberry. Sweet that you got it running headlessly. Might consider doing the same. I saw in the comments on your blog that you (by that date) had not made any latency measurement. I too would be very interested in that.
Off topic: Very nice synth modules you've built!
