I had a similar sounding problem today. There were 2 causes, firstly AU hadn't remembered the change I made to the channel I was sending to SooperLooper. Probably my fault, but worth checking. Also monitor the midi sent from your controller just to make sure it really is on the channel you think it ...

You can bind the mute function of each loop to some midi ccs in sooperlooper preferences. If you get your sequencer to send these same cc codes you should get the effect you are after. Check out the documentation on midi bindings for details.

Anyone know how to set up select next loop as a midi cc binding? When I try this the next loop is selected both when I press AND when I release the footswitch sending the midi cc. Fixed it :-) Sooperlooper needs a more recent version of jack, one that has jackmp.framework rather than jack.framework. Unfortunately I can't use the recent version of jack as long as I want to continue using freewheeling (another mac looper) but the audiounit version of sooperlooper works fine for...
